Trust - Content - Delight

No matter where I sit, no matter where I am or what is going on, I should be content with where I am because Christ is with me. I am missing out on nothing because I have Christ with me who is all things.

On their journey out of Egypt into the promise land, the Israelites were not content and satisfied with what they were receiving from the Lord.

The Lord was walking them into their blessing and He wanted them to believe for more and everything He had promised, but they were so focused on what they did not have, and what they were missing out on, that their complaints caused them to miss God's blessing. The blessings were passed on to their children instead and that generation did not get to see God's promise.

The moral of the story is be satisfied with what you have, while expecting and believing the Lord for more.

Be a Child of God

When a child has great manners and excellent behavior around other people, the parent of that child is highly complimented.

In the same context, when a Christian (child of God) is well behavior demonstrating everything outlined in Galatians 5:22-26 and NOT the things outlined in Galatians 5:19-21, our Father God Almighty is Highly Glorified and Praised because of our conduct.

Who is getting the glory in your life? God? You? or the Enemy?

God's Love is Constant

My Father God Almighty has perfect love towards me. His love towards me is not shaky, sometimes, or dependent on anything. His love for me is always constant.

My Father God Almighty has perfect love towards me. There is no flaw in His love; there is no doubt in His love towards me. There are no issues in His love towards me. There is no judgment in His love towards me. His love towards me is PERFECT!

My Father God Almighty has perfect love towards me. It is always constant and nothing can taint or change His love for me. It is completely perfect.

"There is no fear in love…."

Often times I walk around unsettled in life because I doubt the love of other people because I have come to know their love changes with the weather and every other circumstance in this world. But God's love towards me doesn't depend on anything, but who He is. His choice to love me is strictly based on His will/ purpose/ and who He is.

"God is love…."

My Father God Almighty has perfect love towards me! It never changes. It's perfect!

Love from people is never perfect. There is always a flaw in the love from people, but there are no flaws in God's love towards me.

Nothing can change God's love towards me. It is completely perfect!! It doesn't depend on the weather, it doesn't depend on people's opinions, and it doesn't depend on my past or future. It is completely perfect, independent of everything.

My Father God Almighty, I choose you!!

Sometimes I think God doesn't love me because I don't see Him moving in a certain way, but this belief is a lie from the enemy. Since God's love is perfect, everything that He does in my life is perfect. My responsibility is just to believe it. I must walk in the belief that God has perfect love towards me and not fear anything or fear the possibility that this is not the case based on my conclusion of what I see happening and not faith, which believes in what is not seen.

"We walk by faith, not by sight…"

“We live by believing, and not by seeing…”

Do you know what I would always say because I copied what was being spoken in the world and I was ignorant of the truth? I would say, "There is nothing constant in the world, but change". I see now that I must stop saying this, because it is a complete lie.

The only thing constant in the world is God's Love!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son…"

God's love has been constant from the beginning of time and before the foundation of the world.

God's love for me doesn't depend on my mistakes, or how much money I make. His love will be the only thing standing in the end. God's love created the earth and everything in it.

My Father God Almighty has perfect love towards me and I can count on that from everlasting to everlasting.

Amen!

Intimacy with the Lord

Today the Lord has edified me by giving me a deeper understanding of what true intimacy is with the Lord. He has shown me this through my desire to find out more of what was going on with my mom right now. In this I had an increasing desire to find out what was on my mom’s mind and heart today.

While we were sitting at the table eating breakfast we were having a conversation about stuff. Nothing important just talking about what happen at thanksgiving dinner, who she spoke to in the family recently, the house inspection we had today, the kids, and her shopping experience at Wal-Mart, etc. Towards the end of the conversation with my mom, I had this increasing desire to stop talking to her about things that were not on her heart nor important, and to talk to her about what was in her heart, what she was desiring right now, what she wanted right now, what she was struggling with right now, what she was sad about right now, what she dreamed about right now, what was her goals right now, what would make her happy right now, what would please her right now. In me desiring to find out these things about my mom, my heart was yearning to just talk to her about these things and to help her accomplish them. I wanted to be her outlet because of the love I had for her. I wanted to know what she needed and I wanted to be the person to provide for her in the fashion she needed. This all steamed from a deep love I have for my mom. In the past, throughout my whole life of 20 something plus years, my mom told me almost everything about what she was going through, feeling, experiencing, and desiring at every point in her life. When she had to make a decision she would come to me first and ask me what I think she should do and I was missing this communication with me mom. We would spend our time laughing, crying, and just talk about the deepest parts of our hearts with each other and in this I grew closer with my mom and our relationship became better and better.

This morning the Lord lead me into this revelation experience with my mom, where I was desiring to have greater intimacy with my mom and not just a surface conversation, so that the Lord could show me how he desired to have intimacy with me. Over the past few days had been struggling in communicating with the Lord and understanding how to talk to the Lord and what to talk about. I had made many attempts to sit at the Lord’s feet and let him just speak to me, but I wasn’t successful in that because I was allowing my mind to get clouded with false beliefs of what the Lord is thinking of me. I was feeling lost and didn’t know how to get to the place where I was just resting at the Lord’s feet and allowing him to speak to me. I was working to hard at trying to do things that I thought would make the Lord speak to me, and in this it lead me to tears of frustration in my efforts to communicate with the Lord. However, because of the experience the Lord caused me to have this morning with my mom, I now have a deeper understanding of what true intimacy with the Lord is and looks like.

In intimacy there is no judgment in the mist of the conversation. Intimacy starts with at least you liking the person enough for you to desire to learn more about them. Then as you learn more about them, you grow to love them more. Because of your love for them and your desire to continue to get to know the person more, you are not going to judge them because you don’t want to run them away from you.

When you are intimate with someone you share your deepest thoughts and experiences, you are free in your conversation, you tell it all and hold nothing back. You desire to just talk to the person and to find out more of who they are and what makes them happy, what brings them joy and laughter. You don’t come to a conversation with someone who you truly desire to be intimate with, with your own agenda of what you can get from them our out of the conversation. Matter-of-fact you bring no preconceived notions, impression, opinions, beliefs, ideas, etc. to the conversation. In the conversation, because of the love you have for the person, you come into the conversation seeking to only please them and not yourself. In intimacy your mind and your desires are not focused on you. You get pleasure and satisfaction from pleasing them and doing what ever makes that person happy.

When you have intimacy with someone you come to see and believe, beyond anything, that that person truly enjoys spending their time with you. And that they only want and desire to spend even more time with you. When you are intimate with someone you can’t wait to sit back down with them and tell them everything about your day, life, and desires. You want them to hear it all and you value what they have to say. The time you spend with that person is irreplaceable and all you look forward to is the moments you share with them.

In this understanding that the Lord has given me, he is showing me how my relationship with him should be at all times. When I come into a conversation with him, my love for him will lead me down the path to where I only care about what makes him happy and I only want to do what makes him happy and I only want to talk about what makes him happy because I love him and I am not focused on myself. My love for the Lord should lead me down the path of laying all of my cards on the table and not holding anything back. My love for the Lord should lead me to believe that the Lord doesn’t judge me and that he will never say anything to hurt or bring harm to me and to believe this beyond anything someone else can say or think because I know how much the Lord loves me.

In this, I now see that the Lord desires so much, to spend so much time with me sitting at his feet and listening to him tell me everything that makes him happy, laugh, sad, cry, etc. He wants to tell me what he wants from me and what he thinks of our relationship. He wants to tell me what his heart desires. He wants to tell me what is on his mind and what he thinks. He wants to tell me what he thinks of me. He wants to tell me what he thinks of his body, (The body of Christ). He wants to tell me what his plans for the future are. He wants to laugh and play with me. He wants to share great moments and to show me great things to come, in heaven and even present right now. The Lord desires to be truly intimate with me in ways in which I have never experienced before and I now see and believe this and all praise and glory is given to the Lord.

Where I may look at myself and see that the love I have for the Lord is not strong enough right now to lead me into true intimacy, I must seek the Lord and ask him to build in me the love for him that will lead me to true, deep intimacy with him that no one and nothing, can separate or take away.

I praise the Lord for He hears my cry and is always faithful to my every tear.

Thank You Jesus. J

The Move of God

On Monday September 24, 2012 one of my coworkers asked me if I wanted to go to his church revival. I told him that I would think about it and get back to him later. On Wednesday September 26, 2012, which is the day of the revival, I ask the Lord that morning before going to work if I could go to the revival and the Lord told me that I could go. So I packed a change of clothes to stay at my mom’s house the day after the revival because it was to far to drive back home the same night. My sister was staying with me at the time because my place was closer to her job, so she stayed at my place that night by herself and I stayed with my mom. Nonetheless, I attend the revival and stay at my mom’s house that night.

The next morning on September 27th, 2012 at 6am, I get a call from my sister saying that my apartment is flooded in the kitchen and the water is at least 2-3 inches deep in my kitchen. At this moment I am thinking, what in the world is going on and why is this happening. I tell my sister to go see if she can find a maintenance guy in the apartment to cut the water off until I get there.

When I get back to my apartment, I see a lot of water from the kitchen ceiling coming down. Then I hear the fire fighters tell me that that I should come upstairs because there is also water in my bedroom as well. So when I get upstairs I see that there is water in my bathroom floor and the water has leaked all the way into my closet and halfway into my bedroom.

The week before in church we had been learning to trust God because he is in control of all things regardless of what the situation look like. At this moment I am thinking, what caused this big leak, but nevertheless I am thinking I am just going to trust the Lord regardless. The maintenance crew comes into the apartment and begins to open holes in the ceiling to find out where the leak is coming from. They call a Plumber to have him come in and find the leak.

In the mean time, the property manager calls me into her office and says, that my apartment is too damaged to return back to it and normally she would wait for the renter’s insurance to take care of everything and put me in a hotel until the apartment is fixed (mind you I didn’t have renters insurance, but I didn’t let them know that). The property manager then goes on to tell me that she has an available apartment right across from mine that is available today for me to move into and she will have her maintenance crew move my furniture over to the new apartment today. All I would have to do is just sign a new lease agreement with the new apartment number on it, but nothing else would change on the lease, just the apartment number. So I agreed with what the property manager offered me and had them move my furniture over to the new apartment.

Mind you, I was still thinking, why did all of this happen and what is the purpose behind this. So later on that night, after everything was moved over to the new apartment; when I was standing in my bathroom looking at the wall and thinking about how I was going to hang my shelf back up on the wall, I heard the Lord tell me, “Don’t hang anything on the wall because you won’t be hear long.”

I was shocked to hear this and I was thinking about what the Lord meant. Then it hit me that my lease was up in only two months. In the other apartment where the flood happen, I had done great damage to the apartment by painting the walls, staining the carpet, hanging up many pictures and if I would have moved out of that apartment with those damages I would have had to pay at least $2,000 to the apartment people and I would not have gotten my back security deposit. THEN THE NEXT DAY, WHEN I TALKED TO THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR HE TELLS ME THAT WHEN THE PLUMBER LOOKED IN THE CEILING OF THE APARTMENT WHERE THE FLOOD HAPPEN, THEY DID NOT FIND ANY LEAK AT ALL AND MATTER OF FACT IN BETWEEN THE WALLS WHERE THE PIPES ARE, THE CEILING WAS COMPLETELY DRY AND NOT A DROP OF WATER WAS NEAR THE PIPES. THE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR EXACT WORDS WERE, "IT'S CRAZY, AND WE CAN'T FIND ANY LEAK."

The Lord caused the flood in my apartment because he wanted me to move from the apartment building back in with my mom. The Lord knew that the property manager would move me into a brand new apartment, to keep me from having to pay for the damages I made in the first apartment. I ended up getting my deposit back and no one ever questioned me about how the flood happened in the other apartment. I went on to move out of the new apartment November 26th, 2012 when my lease was up, just two months after the flood and received majority of my security deposit back.

Praise the Lord for He is good.

*Romans 8:28 (NKJV) we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*

I Am Married Now

My husband is the best listener. I never dreamed that I could be married to someone so special. He knows my heartbeat and my every thought. He knows that my heart is for him and he listens to no one else regarding our relationship. I am truly blessed to be married to him.

In this marriage he is healing to my soul, he completes me. When I am weak, he is strong for me. When I am scared he is my peace. When I fail, he is my success. When I feel inadequate, he is my hands and feet. When I am unable to speak, he is my mouth. He completes me. When I make mistakes, he is my helper. When I need to be held, his hands hold me. When I don’t have any confidence, he steps in as my confidence. When I don’t believe in what is right, he steps in and believes for me. He is truly perfect for me, and I am perfect for him.

This love we have is greater than anything I could have ever imagined. It wasn’t easy to get to this point of love in our relationship, but we both stuck with it through the difficult times, and now we are closer to each than ever before. I feel so special to be married to him, I feel like the first lady of the president of the United States. My husband gives to me without me even asking. He cleans for me without me even asking. He always tells the truth. I have never had a relationship like this before.

He is a man of power and great statue. Many respect him and bow to him and his works. When I look at my husband, I am brought to a state of peace, love, joy, and comfort. I give thanks everyday to my heavenly father for blessing me with such a great husband, as our union is unbreakable.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, is his name, the mighty name of my husband. I have received a great inheritance by being married to Him, and I am walking as a new person with his arm around my arm. I fall more and more in love with Him everyday and I grow closer and closer to Him in every way.

Thank you Husband. Thank you Lord. Thank you King. Thank you Savior. Thank you Faithful. Thank you Love. Thank you Compensator. Thank you Creator. Thank you God.

In the Beginning

January 16th, 2012 was the begging of a new life for me. Unknowingly, my new boss that walked into the office on this day would be the person to lead me into a better life - a life full of change, peace, joy, happiness, long-suffering, blessings, honor, glory, miracles, and most of all LOVE. All of these things were about to slap me at the speed of lighting.

As my new boss began to tell me all of these stories about how Jesus moved in her life and how he, “showed up and showed out” - were her words, my desire for more of Him increased. Story after story after story, she told me, day after day after day. Just by her stories alone I could see the love of Jesus for her. On the inside of me, I was crying out for this love, and to walk in this love everyday of my life, I just didn’t know how to get it. Nevertheless, my passion for Jesus grew and grew with each day. I longed to have Jesus, “show up and show out” in my life and I was determined to get Him.

After telling me her stories over the span of two weeks, the Lord instructed her to tell me that she was a Pastor. When the words, “I am a Pastor” came out of her mouth, I was ecstatic and overjoyed. Now most people would think I was crazy to be so excited to work with and share an office with a Pastor, but to me it was the best day of my life to hear she was a Pastor. Throughout my life I have been “rebuked” so to speak, by Pastors, and now to know one was sharing an office with me; I was singing “Oh Happy Day” on the inside and thinking, “I’m about to get all of my questions, answered.”

The Lord began to reveal the truth to me about who He is and who I am in Him.

Then the unthinkable happened; I heard the Lord speak to me. Yes, that is right, the Lord speaks in an audible voice. (John 10:27 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me)

I hear the Lord’s voice and I talk to Him just like as if I was talking to you in person and there are more people in this world who speak to the Lord, but you wouldn’t know that unless you were in a church that teaches this.

In the past I didn’t know that the Lord will actually speak to his children, because I never seen this or heard of this before, until my boss came along and thought me how to hear the Lord’s voice.

There is so much more to Jesus than what we see, think, or hear and I pray that as you continue to read my blog the Lord begins to open your eyes to the truth of his love for you and just how real and alive He is.

Thank the Lord, Praise the Lord, for He is Good.
